Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Framti collects and uses personal data. The objective is to provide you with general information about our processing of personal data.

The personal data that we collect and why we collect it

Comments
When visitors post comments on a site, the information provided in the comment form is stored. Among other things, we store the visitor’s IP address and the version of browser they are using. This is done to assist in avoiding frivolous comments

An anonymous text string generated based on your email address (also called a “hash”) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have an account there. You can find the Gravatar Privacy Policy here: www.automattic.com/privacy. Once your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be visible to anyone in connection with your comment.

Media
If you upload photos to the site, you should avoid uploading photos that contain information about the location where the picture was taken (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract such information from images on the site.

Contact forms
If you contact us via a contact form on our website, our systems will retain information about this. You should avoid sending sensitive information via the contact form.

Cookies
If you leave a comment on this website, you can request that we remember your name, email and website. This information is stored in a cookie and is there to make things easier for you. The next time you post a comment, you won’t need to re-enter this information. These cookies expire after one year.

If you have an account and log in to this website, we will create a temporary cookie to determine if your browser supports its use. This cookie does not contain any personal data and disappears as soon as you close your browser.

When you log in, cookies are created that retain your login information and the choices you have made regarding how content should be displayed. Cookies containing login information expire after two days, while those with display option information will expire after one year. If you tick “Remember me” your login information will be stored for two weeks. If you log out of your account, these cookies will disappear.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data, only the ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this page may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the site visitor had visited the website from which the embedded content originates.

The embedded content enables these websites  to collect information about you, use cookies, embed third party tracking systems and monitor what you do. This also includes tracking your actions through the embedded content if you have an account and are logged into the site.

Analysis
Information that you may have entered will not be used for analysis but may be stored for communication with you.

Who we share your information with
We do not share your information with anyone.

How long do we keep information about you
If you leave a comment, the comment and data about the comment will be saved indefinitely. This is so that we can recognise follow-up comments and approve them automatically, instead of putting them in a queue to await manual approval by an editor.

If the option of registering on this website is available, personal data that is provided in the user profile is also stored for users who make use of this option. All users can view, edit and delete their own personal data at any time (except for usernames). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

Your rights regarding information we hold about you
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to be sent an export file containing the personal data we hold about you. This includes all data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete any personal data that we hold about you. This does not include data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security reasons.

Where we send information about you
Visitor comments can be checked through an automatic recognition service for spam comments.
