Video stabiliser for smartphones.
The Challenge
There are a number of good ideas that come out of the entrepreneurial communities around NTNU in Trondheim. One of them happens to be Flow Motion – a handheld stabiliser that uses gyro sensors and electric motors to keeps the mobile camera stationary, even if the user is moving at high speed.
The Assignment
From an early stage, we worked closely with the founders of Flow Motion and contributed to the industrialisation of a highly advanced and complex product. They had the software knowledge, while we were behind the engineering, production and assembly of the product.
The Solution
This project involved the incorporation of very sophisticated technical electronics. There was also extreme time pressure because there were also a number of other competitors working on similar products. And despite the great competition, we succeeded in creating a good end product with a good technical solution.
